colorful shadows

I'm still working with my water soluble oil paints, documenting shadows that plants cast on my canvases. I've been layering the shadows, using them as I would with glazing. I've also started on some small watercolors working with the same idea. It is perfect weather to paint, sunny and in the 70s. It is these kinds of days that I've learned to thoroughly enjoy, shadow painting is not possible without direct sunlight. I love this weather.
